I've been wondering and have searced for several time, on google of course. Looking for a Debit Card that can be used for PayPal and everywhere else. But, I need one that is very very useful. I found one by United Overseas Bank (UOB) Malaysia. It seems useful, I thought. Never got a chance to go to any of their branches yet. Surely will update you guys about it ASAP.
From their website, it is said that it will work smoothly by deducting straight from your bank saving account. I say, hey that is definately great. Since, some of others have different place of putting the card money to. Like AmBank NextG Debit Card, some said it works about the same as prepaid. If I am right, UOB Debit Card works about the same as Al-Rajhi Debit Card. UOB Debit Card doesn't seems to support any online registration for the card. You have to go to their branches to get it which can be found here for the list of UOB Malaysia's branches.
That is one of my finding. Knowing that PayPal currently only accepting Visa at the moment, making me think. Which Debit Card should I let my hand into? I thougt, this UOB Debit Card is a Visa Electron, it could work excelent. Not many have tried using it. If I let my hand into it, I might be the first. However, getting more than one Debit Card wouldn't hurt much. So I guess, taking AmBank NextG Debit Card as well as UOB Debit Card for my future use.
